    Default It's a beautiful thing

I drove by this the other day...

It used to have a For Sale sign in the window.

I would love to buy a vintage car/truck but with working alot of hours and having the company truck to get to work it doesn't make much sense thought. I had a '71 Skylark that was all original that I loved but then we sold it to use as a down payment on our first house.

I was tired when I was online this morning.

Did you buy it or is the for sale sign just gone?

I love those old trucks.. (my fav is the panel trucks).

But.. next to zilch for safety.. pretty bad mpg.. hard to find parts.. and pretty much forget about finding a garage, never mind a quick-lube that knows what to do with them ..
it would have to be all DIY or have a pal /etc that remembers enough.
(May you live in interesting times)

I didn't buy it. The sign is gone and I don't know why.

Word of Warning. They don't ride as good as they look most of the time.
I might not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was !
