    IBEW coming to a store near you. Talked to a couple guy I know in Indiana. IBEW has gotten alot of USIC locators to sign up.

    I agree, Mke. The solution is not the union. The solution is licensing requirements for locators. Trained and licensed locators will be harder to find and take longer to train and license. Supply and demand. Its simple math.

    I have been saying that for years. We are a joke in the eyes of the contractors. I for one would be the first in line if there was a recognized certification and I would pay for it myself. I am past ready to be paid what I am worth.

    This Training and certification needs to be better then what is currently out there. Half of the courses out there give you credit for attending and don't give credit on actual knowlege of material. The other half is not recognized by most of the country, so .... we are in the position we are at now. Go figure.
