No, mine would be something made by Metrotech.

hmmmm, its a little to phalic for me. Especially when it reads "It extends for greater sensitivity".....
I'm with I find it.... Tech.

If I could have only one this would be mine!
Finds all utilities including plastic pipe plus shows their seize and depth.
Show me a RD or Metrotech that does all that AND clears my driveway in Winter and I'll buy it!

I love the Rycom but if you could only have one that might not be a good choice because of reliability issues. I'd have to say if I could only have one locator it would have to be a new RD.
Pipe Horn...without a doubt
Buy a Vivax V-Loc Pro. By far the best receiver I have ever used (super sensitive antenna, alot more than the new RD). It looks kinda corny at first, but until you try it, you don't know what you're missing.
The transmitter doesnt really matter, but the old 400 1-watt is STILL the best all-around transmitter IMHO. It puts out a cleaner signal at low power(not freq) than anything I've ever used, and I've used most everything that is mainstream. I'm talking about regular old everyday locating. The larger transmitters were always better for trickery/shortcutting and coupling.
Fuji Tecom if I had to pick only one.
