Default How to scare a contractor LOL

I was just thinking that it would be funny to booby-trap an excavation site for a contractor you don't like by burying a fully loaded can of paint. With any kind of luck they would put a tooth right into the side of it and hear "SSSSSSS." Of course it should be buried right in line with your marks so when they ask about it you could say "why were you operating right over the mark?"

Not that i would ever do this, i just thought it would be pretty darn funny.

I buried a piece of fiber optic in a trench while the crew was at lunch a few years back. The owner/operator of the backhoe was NOT amused.

I've done that before. Short pieces of PVC pipe left over from new houses or new mainline runs works well for this purpose as well.

I never thought of the paint can idea, would be funny as hell though. Kinda like the dye pack at a bank.
