    Thats just .. odd.. lol
    Never crossed my mind either.

But.. wouldnt you pee on the ground, and then shove your stake into the wet spot instead of peeing on your leads ??
A little easier to wipe off the end of your stake when you pull it back out..

Probably, if I really needed some liquid and there was no store or house tap nearby, Id just dip a rag into my windsheild wiper container and squeeze some onto the ground.
(May you live in interesting times)

A jug of water with Dawn Dish Detergent soap in it. Not too much. Works great as a wetting agent.

Maybe that's what happened to the Sic1! He got caught peeing on the side of a freeway and the Police wouldn't buy his story about needing to wet his leads to get a better signal!!!

If you ever worked off a quad or sled at times you run out of water or you cant bring water because it just frezzes and your not going to bounce all the way back to the truck which is a few miles away.
So you piss on your leads.

I find it wierd Im the only one

You shouldn't find it weird that you are the only one... the rest of us piss on the ground and drive in the stake where we pissed. What does pissing on your leads accomplish??? that is weird....

Better not have your transmitter on when you do "leak" on the leads - might give your Johnson a big shock!

I took a leak one time as a dare on an electric fence - need I say more??

when we get hot weather over here which is far and few between i do piss on the ground occasionally then place stake in wet patch, but dont piss on my leads man, but normally i carry a couple of water bottles with me and use them instead, apparently the salt content of your piss makes a very good conductive liquid
