DREEEAM, DREEEAM, DREAM A LIL DREAM. When SM&P and CLS merged in 2008, in IL they bumped everyone with a year or less to the higher starting wage of CLS to $13.95 in SEPT of 2008. I think sm&p was around $12 back then. With cls poaching sm&p locators when they came into IL in 2006 they were paying a few $$ more an hour. With the merger there were guys with less years making almost $5 an hour difference to some of the more senior techs. With that starting wage and no damages and good production a newbie within a year could be making more than a guy having 4 plus years in. Just read the old post and you will see what they think of experienced locators now. Funny thing ole mike boasted that we had so many tenured tech with over a year experience back in 2006-07 i think it was.
