Default Been a tough summer of locating for me.

Here in Seattle we just set a record for the driest (days without rain) and it effected my locating more than normal. Usually by the time we get to August I have to add a little water to the ground to get my loop working but this year it started in July and by the time I got to August I was adding a lot more water to the ground then I am used to. I kinda but it in the back of my mind that I might have to even do that but didn't realize how much extra time it would take with multiple locates to do.

locates can get very frustrating with no good ground . I have tried all types of tricks thru the years but nothing beats a lil water down the ground rod....

CUDA add some Dawn Dish soap to the water. Somehow it make a better ground then just water. Does anyone else do this?

I will try that I have dawn on the truck always because the sewer cameras get stuck and if you pour a bottle down the pipe and wait a half hour a lot of times it will come right out!
