I get a kick out of Verizon down here. They call in tickets based on what their Wire Center is named, not the actual city name. What dumb asses! I send them e-mails , call, and do everything but go to their office. I quit locating these tickets 2 years ago and let them worry about paying for the repairs. All the other locators close their tickets out as bad addresses also.
I might not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was !

We are not supposed to tell them to call in a new ticket either. Whenever I call and get the correct address I'm always sure to let the contractor know that I will mark it but it would be in his best interest to call in a ticket with the correct address to cover his a$$ because I don't mark everything and I'm not sure if the other locators will spend the time to figure out the correct address.

this will definetly be an ongoing problem................what seem to be stuck no matter what...if we give a courtesy call and they tell us where the address is we are responsible in a way but if we do like the other comp. do and just leave it be or write it off we seem to come out better that way.....we lose either way to me....

I had a bad address ticket the other day. Called in 610 some st with a cross of rosebud. There is NO 610 ... there is a 1610... and in this town there is no rosebud street anywhere! Called contractor... he says "well that's the address they gave me." I inform him that yes, there is construction going on here, but you have the wrong address... his reply..."oh.. well I did give them 1610 some st"... yeah, right. I told him he needed to call in the ticket again. This was on Wed.... as of yesterday... the ticket still hadn't been called back in. Oh.. well... I was clear in the dig area they wanted... but... he still has an invalid ticket.
