Been looking at the Vivax defect mapper for locating defects on pipelines. Radiodetection have a similar product but just wondered if anybody has used either of the products and their thoughts.

Yes, I have used both.
What would you like to know?
How do they compare ?
Standard kit comes with GPS. Receiver colour display, dual battery system, continuous depth display, real time distance update from last record, single button for all measurements, view CAT graph on screen, walk back feature to reach area of interest on survey, using A-frame; a signature graph is generated to analyse the exact fault position while doing ACVG survey. Data can be downloaded to Excel and kml file.

Hi Yogesh,
I notice that Radiodetection use 4Hz for the mapping frequency and the Vivax unit uses 3Hz. what is the benifit of using 3Hz over using 4Hz ?
