I was just checking out the stats and I see that we broke the 600 visitors in a day mark yesterday.

Keep in mind if a person visits and then returns again later, that counts as two visits.

Alright, now that the month is over I can give you my monthly average on visits. Of course, this thread was started to say we actually beat the 600 visitors a day mark. So, you can't expect the average to be above that. It would be creative statistics at work if you did.

The Monthly average when it comes to visitors is 517.93 visitors a day.

Here are the monthly stats...

Unique Visitors: 6,629
Number of visits: 14,502 (2.18 visits/visitor)
Pages: 249,462 (17.2 Pages/Visit)
Hits: 961,699 (66.31 Hits/Visit)

Maybe I should start selling ad space at $1200 a year like some of the other sites that only boast about 150 visits a day.

These are just spikes in traffic. They happen for whatever reason. It is the averages that tell the tale. Right now... average for the month of march is 463.14 per day.

There are some forums out there that get 10,000 to 100,000 visitors a day.

These are some stats from a site I go to often.

Currently Active Users: 1,203 (390 members and 813 guests)
Most users ever online was 17,518, Mar 18th 2009 at 10:39 pm.
