When we talk about teamwork, which I think we all agree is the goal, it begs the question, how do we acheive it? My suggestion is to reimplement the old Motorola truck to truck connection style, where you can tune in to different channels, hear different 'teams' conversing, and converse, when you want, with your own guys, and gals. I know this costs extra money, takes up Locator's Time, but, there was something big lost back then, when, it was taken away. We had it better back then.

Having the Motorolas was great entertainment. I miss those days of locating.

I miss the crazy weather reports from Mark on the Motorola everyday.

There was also channel 6 which just worked if you were close to each other and no one else could here. So if you drove by another locator you would hang your arms out the window with 6 fingers up to let them know to turn to channel 6 without letting anyone else in on the secret conversation. This way you could talk about the newbies, sups, or just lazy a$$es without them hearing.
