    Default Jimmie Johnson

Well my son is three years old and loves racing. It all started with the movie Cars and then Herbie and now has been collecting the small matchbox type cars and has pretty much all of their names memorized.

Well today I got home and my wife was all concerned because my son was crying for an hour saying something about Jimmie Johnson was lost and she had no clue what he was talking about. Once I explained to her "Jimmie Johnson" is a small number 48 race car that says Lowes on it she says oh it's right over here.

I guess I should let my wife in on all the drivers names so she understands when my son talks about them. He has no idea what the numbers are, just knows their names.

I loved your story. Your boy is my kind of man. Many top flight drivers love the kids as fans also. Richard Petty, Ryan Newman, Steve Kinser and Melanie Troxel all stand in line giving their autographs until the last kid is gone.

Kyle Busch is probably my second favorite driver. I normally root for Matt Kenseth, you gotta root for the local boy.

Matt Kenseth is a talented driver who really knows his way around a race track. My local boy is #99 Carl Edwards. The millions of dollars the NASCAR drivers swim in has not affected him YET...........

If they race for Rouch, I like them, but I lean hardest for Matt.

My father and grandfather were huge race fans. They got me into racing when I was a little bitty thing. Over 40 years ago. I still watch it at times, but not faithfully like I used to. Too busy with life now I guess. But if I had to choose any sport as my favorite, it would be racing. I have a few favorites but I have only one I don't like at all!
