Default 1968 Hemi Barracuda WAR FISH

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    - Charlie Wescott Jr. -
    Owner/Driver of WAR FISH

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

A video of Charlie Westcott Jr. running 8.221
seconds at 162.72 m.p.h. during the Division 2
National Open at Valdosta, GA, during November,
2010 in his 1968 "WAR FISH" Barracuda Fastback.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

When the SS/AH (Super Stock/A class Hemi)
drag racing cars got their own class a few years ago,
and were running in the 8.50s, people
    thought that was insane.

With Westcott, Barton, and others building 426
Hemi's that rival Pro Stock engines technologically,
we wonder how long it will be before someone puts
one of these cars in the 7s.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

2 tenths of a second is a long way to go, but
I'm positive teams are not going to stop tweaking
    on these combos anytime soon.

Hell, I don't know if I could change gears 3 times in 8 seconds! Must be using really short stroke shifters.
I might not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was !

It's better to be Pissed Off than Pissed On or Stood On and Pissed Off Of !
