Recent Hog hunt

My Buddy with the hogs I shot in Dec. - the sow went about 250 lbs

my son is a houndsman, he hunts bear, hogs, coons and cats along with everything else that breathes.

we buy very little meat and i grow enough of a garden that we are pretty self supportive

dude..........gotta love the hunt .....hogs over this way are getting out of hand...we see them eat right off the side of the interstate like humans are safe to be around ....easy to catch a bunch at one time my friends tell me....

Fine eating there. I hunted hogs once but didnt have a clue how to do it . I got none. I'd do it again if it werent for the snakes. I did shoot many snakes(watermoccasins I think). It kinda turned me off cuz I was scared of getting bit and couldnt take my eyes off the ground. Another guy I was with shot a couple and gave us some of the meat. It was really good. I know, I'm a whimp when it comes to snakes. Dont have to worry about them in Wisconsin.
