Nice Rack

Virtually shot this guy earlier this morning....This guy was about 600 feet from my front door, along my south property line.

Boys and girls, can you say "wall hanger" ? All he's missing is a set of cross hairs!

Now that is one hell of a nice buck in velvet. I know alot of guys around here that would be stalking that deer till bow season.

You should see the nice sheds we pulled out of our woods this year. Last I went for "just past spots" - cuz the baby animals are the tastiest animals - this year I asked Santa for a rack

Yeah, that does suck. I find myself pretty selective towards letting them reach their potential. Dont shoot that many,love to watch them from trees. Shoot'em when they get toward the end of their lifecycle. Hope someone shoots me when I get old. 60+

i have to look into this but i was told a guy got a 25 point buck in IL bowhunting. This is a state recond i think. Funny thing is he hit the buck in the ear and it startled the buck. The person told me the buck fell over an enbankment and fell into a river and drowned.

One thing about hunting is there is an endless supply of hard to believe stories.. I usually keep them to myself so people dont think I'm a B.S.er. Seen alot of crazy stuff..
