    Default Helicopters

I got into thei hobby/addiction 4 years ago. I now have 4 RC helicopters with one set up for night flying. It's a fun, cheap hobby if you can keep them in the air! Initial investment and the learning curve can hurt a bit, though. I was lucky I had a good teacher and I managed to learn without a dumb-thumb crash.

Hey Color Blind - Welcome Aboard! What a cool hobby! That third slide showed a trail of exhaust coming from the motor's straight pipe. I can relate! A t-shirt and shorts on the last week of September in Wisconsin? Man - You must be hot blooded!

Hey - I was just yanking your chain. What was the end result of the chopper that tried to fly upside down?

Thanks for the welcome! It's good to be here!
We had a mild September this year!
We like to run-em rich, that motor's going at approx17,000 Rpm! Hence the smoke.
You'd be surprized to know that RC helicopters can fly upside down just as well as they fly right side up!
Here's a video of a professional doing his routine. I'm not quite this good yet....Alright, not even close.
