    Default Snakes!!

We are going to start..(and are now) running into snakes. What kind of gear/protection do you use. . I.E leg guards, shoe covers, hooks, sprays, deterrents, and or ways to avoid. Also snake bite kits and first aid.

In the suburbs of Idaho's big cities, snakes aren't a problem. Small non-poisonous snakes are common but they have never been a threat. I ignore them.

well i run into highly aggressive cottonmouths, copper heads, and rattle snakes. Tip. when in wooded area do not step over a log or rock if you have to step on it then look on the other side and step as far from it as possible so not to get bit in the leg by a snake you didnt see curled up under the other side

haha! Yep! I paint them whatever color is in my stick! In NC my personal record was two orange and one red in one day.

Never used any special gear like shoes or chaps. Hell, I located in the summer most of the time in sneakers or flip-flops. Ticks gave me more problems than snakes ever did.
