    576 fibers...I'm pretty sure the entire world would lose phone service if this was cut

    I love when they call in the rear lot and it is so landscaped you are afraid to spray anything. Or when they call in to mark the rear lot and there is a lock on the gate with a vicious dog inside.

    Is that 576 strand fiber a stub? It looks like there is only one coming out of the splice case.

    nah, look under the tag, you'll see two-576 strands...just an in-and-out splice (commonly known around here as the elusive access point lol)
