    Default Rain Rain Go Away

I've worked the same city for well over 10 years and have never seen the water even close to this high. There are only two bridges open to get over the main river that runs through town. All of downtown is flooded. It's taking forever to get from one locate to the next with all the roads closed.

I probably will have to bring my canoe in to keep locating. The water isn't suppose to crest till tomorrow but then we're supposed to get more heavy rains on Thursday and Friday.

I think I tripled my drive times today because there were only two bridges open to get across the river.

Now what idiots are digging in that mess? I understand there could be some tickets having something to do with the flooding, but regular tickets-no way, dude!
I might not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was !

All this rain makes for tons of electric faults. We also get tons of tickets for people burying their downspouts after they have their basements flooded.

We rarely get floods here as we are somewhat on a tablelands. However, we have had our fair share of rain this spring and most of the areas I work are mud/clay. Slippery as heck when wet, hard as a rock when dry. When wet walk around with 10 pound boots. Those days I drag my tired butt home and crash in front of the computer.

Here's a local news video of the high waters. You'll need high speed to view it.

We had a few tornadoes up here, lots of trees and electric poles down here.

Hey Beyond, after a tornado do you go into storm only mode?
