Other than the rain it was a great time for all!
Although last minute issues prevented me from attending, I heard not a single tomato was thrown!

Job Applicant: What does this job pay?
Employer: I'm going to pay you just what you are worth!
Job Applicant: I don't think I can work for that......

Looking Good John.

I seek not to know the answers, but to understand the questions.
OVUS1,
That sure seemed like a great idea to get Indiana811 involved with your entry, you sure have a knack for combining efforts for damage prevention. Not only did your entry get your companys name out to the people, but it tied your efforts in with the call before you dig people too. Just wish I could have seen it, I always watch the parade in a different town.
Thanks Spray - we're looking at working with IUPPS again during the Indiana State Fair in August by manning their Indiana811 booth there for a day or two. Since our livelihood depends on educating people to call before they dig, it's only natural to try and get the word out every way we can. We can also provide good information about the entire process that not only helps OneVision, but also helps contract locating/damage prevention at the same time. Chuck (IUPPS) was great to work with as was Dave (NIPSCO) who really set everything up, and we got a lot of local feedback by participating.
It's really amazing to see the difference in people when you shift out of the "me" mode and into the "we" mode - damage prevention requires shared responsibility and participation beyond counting your profits.
