I took another vacation to the coast. I took some pictures. I hope you enjoy them.
The phone box is an example of what the sea spray does to the utility boxes.

I used to work in the Monterey Bay area. It's one of the beautiful places on earth. Where were these taken? Looks like Northern CA/ Oregon.
These were taken in Bandon, Oregon and Port Orford Oregon. This is where I want to move to... someday.

Steve, love the pictures. Just like me, whenever I visit another city I look at marks, peds ect. I see you are the same way. Slipped the ped in there.
I will be to St. Louis next weekend and for marks.
Even when I'm not at work, I follow pole dips, peds, and always check out locate marks when I see them.
The picture of the phone ped rusting away is something I see hundreds of times a day, there are even electric meter bases in worse sahpe all over the place as well...
It's like they say, once a locator, always a locator....

I always catch myself scanning for buried utilities and where the gas meter is when I visit friends or family's homes. Sometimes as I'm heading in I'll catch myself getting happy cause they have aerial electric or phone and then wander why.
