• Phone Line Issue Causing Problems In Licking County

    NEWARK, Ohio - Phone line problems are causing issues in portions of Licking County.

    The Licking County sheriff's office says a fiber-optic line or phone line has been cut somewhere, causing intermittent phone outages in and around Newark and other areas of the county.

    This is causing problems with some calls to the sheriff's office. Officials say the 911 call center is still operating.

    Some ATM machines are also experiencing problems.
