For that kind of money, I don't think I'd be able to refuse. I hope you get it, Mike. You seem like you learned most everything locating has to offer. If you're like me, you get bored when you're not learning. Learning new things that interest you is what keeps your mind sharp.
I just want to warn you now. I will be making plans to move into your guest house. I drink Bud, in case you were wandering. I hope you like kids. I'll try to keep them from peeing in your pool but sometimes I do it too.
Keep us updated on how it goes. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

Let's see.. More money than you make even with OT. Little to no OT, every holiday off, off on time every day, work in heated and air conditioned room. Do not work in al kinds of bad weather, stepping around snakes, spiders, wasps, dogs and everything else. I can see why you are thinking of walking away from this.

I left a dispatching job 26 years ago. But it was a 24/7/365 operation and each week a differnt shift of day, evening or midnight to morning. Working holidays to boot. Plus great amount of OT. $80,000 a year? I am packing my truck and driving that way now. The low end to start is $57,000 a year which more than $7,000 a year more I am being paid now.

Any word yet? I always like to see a locator find greener fields.
