We are on the verge of the largest move to socialism and statism since FDR’s New Deal.
If the Bush-McCain-Obama “rescue” plan passes, the government will be further empowered to control the economy and taxpayers will bear all the risk!
Newt Gingrich calls the plan a “disaster” and a “nightmare.” George Will says the plan will give the government the ability to “control the flow of capital through the veins of American capitalism.” Rush Limbaugh also calls it a move to more socialism.
And don’t be fooled -- this is a bailout and there WILL be winners and losers, decided by politicians and bureaucrats, not the market! And you and I will ultimately pick up all or part of the $700 billion tab!
And why are we rushing into this risky, socialist “rescue” plan? One word…
…fear.
The President told us that our local banks will close if we don’t pass his plan. Credit will shut down. The Sky is falling!
When politicians try to scare us, it is time for the citizens to say, “STOP THE MADNESS!”

Just a thought. But if OBAMA was not running for President, would he even be in the Whitehouse meetings? I think not. Junior Senator's are never included in these negotiations. He said call me if you need me. What he really means don't call me because I have no idea what is going on or how to fix it!
We do need a bailout, but one that is not a blank check to the treasury to buy these bad loans. But maybe to change the Mark to Market law and let these ride. And just infuse the market with lots of cash to get banks issuing credit again. That would protect the taxpayer.
I read last night on CNBC that Palosi wants a percentage of the profits that this bailout will generate to use for other programs. CAN'T YOU DEMS JUST LET THE TAXPAYERS HAVE THEIR DAM MONEY BACK!!!!

I love the fact that it is the conservitives (ie. republicans) who are putting up a fight and not just bowing down to what the democrats want to push through.
Take a look at how long this has been going on? It is FACT it started with Clinton, but yet his congress was republican controlled. Bush HAS to fix this with a democrat controlled congress. A problem that has been building for 16 years CAN NOT be fixed correctly in a friggin week!!!!!!!!! The fix will be just as broken and stupid as the problem. Mostley because these asshole WE have elected CAN'T even get through and put asside their bullshit partisenship. Nanci Pelosi is a F*CKING MORON and anyone who falls right in line with what she thinks personally and professionally get to hold the same title she does.
The ONLY reason THEY want to fix it so fast is THEY are about to go into RECESS and leave Washington.

Pelosi is a friggin moron and you dont have to look hard to find evidence of this .....
Nancy Pelosi on natural gas:On NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, the speaker twice seemed to suggest that natural gas — an energy source she favors — is not a fossil fuel.“I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels,... naturalgas not a fossil fuel ??? LMFAO
And lets not forget her counter part bumbass Harry Reid.......
The insertion of presidential politics has not been helpful, it has been harmful," said the Nevada Democrat. "A few days ago I called on Sen McCain to make a stand, to let us know where he stands on the issue, but all he has done is stand in front of the cameras..."
If presidential politics is not helpful then why the hell would he "Reid" want McCain to take a stand.... ? if it wont be helpful .......

Oh oh oh and not to mention She loves Natural Gas SOOOOOOOO much but wait, umm, dont' we still have to DRILL for natural gas and run a complex network of pipelines and stations to distribute the Natural Gas She LOVES SOOOOOOO much to the consumer? Also from what I understand from basic junior high science Natural Gas is the FIST thing that oil companies hit BEFORE they tap an oil reserve? Or was that coal. Either way it proves that you can be RETARDED and be head of congress.

more wisdom quotes from Harry Reid....
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid held a press conference on Friday morning in which, in the most blatant of terms yet, he blamed John McCain for throwing a wrench into negotiations over a financial bailout package.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) completely dismissed McCain's role in the meeting, saying that he spoke last, said nothing important and had little to do with the negotiations." Anyone in that meeting who tried to understand what John McCain said in that meeting, couldn't" understand whether he supported the deal, Reid said, according to a clip aired on MSNBC. "He didn't say anything substantive. ... He was the last person to talk in that meeting.
if McCain didnt say anything substantive and said nothing important and spoke last how did he "throw a wrench into negotiations"
Things that make you go........ duhhhh

You know the great bailout the dem's want to ramrod through is a joke. But last time I checked the Dem's control the house and the senate. So why do they not just pass the bill without the GOP? They in all there conventional wisdom do not want to get all the blame when there plan fails! So they know it sucks but are busting the GOP's BALLS for it. And have crucified McCain in the Press for there own shortcomings!

I can't wait to see this election coming up, not just presidential but for EVERYONE. If people REMEBER the FACTS that are being PROVEN about the wonderful and great Democrats who have SINGLE handidly run our economy into the ground long enough, things will look very very different in Washington.
Problem is our President is a joke and alot of people will focus on his ineptness at, well, pretty much EVERYTHING he has done. He as the 'head' Republican make the whole party look retarded even though it ISN'T the Republicans who are trying to F*CK US in the ass (at this present time of course)

The issue lies with the bill itself. The GOP said it will not support a bill that makes the taxpayers to bail out wallstreet. I agree. I did not put them in this position. They did it to themselves. The Dem's of course say they have to bailout the failed policy of the Bush administration. BUT have you ever heard of one party helping the other parties administration? NO! They are doing this because it was there party that created this mess wallstreet is in!

Something that bothers me about this whole deal is the fact that in all Fairness both parties have have had a great hand in doing this to US.
Bubba Clinton admitted his part in it, I think on Larry King, or one of the interviews he had been doing this past week.
Hillary said NAFTA was broke and screwed us when she was campaigning.
The price tag on this 'War' in Iraq is utterly f*cking ridiculous with NO WAY to recoupe our financial loss there. (they aren't going to let us have ANY oil that is produced there and we WILL NOT be allowed to have a military base there, as we are so fond of doing after a war).
As I said this is growing problem that took 16 years to cave in on our Government and not ONE single word, not one. Hopefully, at least I have seen this and I am ultra happy, people will remember this and do what they have been doing all week. The OUTRAGE to this has gotten us more involved with OUR Government than EVER before. Lines are busy constantly, email boxes are full and mail is stacking up. I hope it stays that way and I hope we finally get our point accross to those assholes. YOU WORK FOR US. Don't do your job right and YOU WON'T HAVE A JOB.

Yeah, but a lot of these people that are blogging and raising Hell will end up not voting for one reason or the other. I bet we don't hit 33% of registered voters actually getting off of their butts and making it to the voting booth.

Dave Ramsey's The Common Sense Fix
We are at a crucial time in our country's financial history. Congress defeated the $700 billion bailout plan on Monday, 29 September 2008. However, they are revising it and trying to push it through again. I'm supporting an alternative plan that will keep our nation from going even deeper in debt, and I've been on TV and radio all week telling people about it.
We need everyone's help!
Send The Common Sense Fix to your Representatives and Senators and tell them how you expect them to vote, and that if they put this nation in $700 billion of debt, that you will vote them out. It's their job to listen to us! (Whichever presidential candidate or political party that champions this plan from their leadership down will likely become the next president. That is because this plan fixes the crisis while going along with the wishes of the vast majority of Americans.)
1. First, read this page (PDF) (http://www.daveramsey.com/media/pdf/the_common_sense_fix.pdf)
2. Send it to your Senators (http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm) and representatives (https://forms.house.gov/wyr/welcome.shtml) by copying and pasting the text in the web form you're sent to.
*Note: If their websites are down, that means we're making a difference! Keep refreshing the page until you get through. You can also go through Congress.org. (http://www.congress.org/congressorg/dbq/officials/)
Tell Others
Forward an email to everyone in your address book and tell them to urgently follow these steps TODAY. The more people we have supporting this and contacting their elected leaders, the more likely we can turn our economy around!

Common sense politics does any believe it actually exists? Politicians do as they want not what we want, they are all power hungry and control freaks, and wall street is no better, and now where do we stand in need of a quick fix that wont happen and wont cure the issue at hand. This is going to be felt thru out the country and it will be a long healing process, tighten you belts now!
