Hey, from central Florida. :waving:
Been a locator now for two years with two companies, five supervisors, worked four counties so far... not that I'm bitter.
It's true what they say, "Locating is locating, no matter where you go. Deal with it!"

Welcome Aboard! Post Often!
2 years experience makes you a vet. Hopefully you have experienced the challenging tickets in your area by yourself with success. If so, at your age and with 2 years experience makes you a PERFECT mentor! You don't know, or at the very least comfortable using ALL the shortcuts needed to make solid production numbers daily (and make this job easy!). Step up the the plate and teach these noobs in the field how locating is done by using the basics. Truthfully, at 2 years, the basics is about all you know. The scary shortcuts will be revealed to you in due time............. Once you become a long time vet that's proficient with the scary locating techniques, you will find teaching the noobs takes way too much time. Time that you ain't got!

Welcome. Hopefully it rains more there than when I used to live down there. Last memory down there was a wildfire that was burning less than a 1/4 mile from my apt. :toasted: Hot and dry everyday. But most everyone is nice.

Welcome aboard. Have a good time on the vine.
I couldn't deal with the heat. It was 80 yesterday and I just wanted winter to get here.

Right now it feel good. Sitting on the back porch drinking coffee and on the vine. Nice and cool, for me that is, until the sun comes all the way up.

Now that's a Floridian if I ever knew one. My Aunt has lived down there for the past 45 years. Every time she comes up here (usually in May). She always is wearing several sweaters. She get cold if it's under 70.

I remember the summer of wild fires. Pretty scary. But now we still have evidence of flooding from TS Fay. Phoenix827, I'm in Brevard County, home of Ron Jon's Surf Shop and the astrodudes that fly in space.

Man, its been a TON of years since I was in Ron Jon's at Cape Can.
Interesting side note. We just had a fellow move up from Florida (Miami/Brower County) and is now locating for us. Says he loves it here and loves the money. Wait'll winter hits, I bet he'll sing a different tune when it is minus 20. :) :)
