What can be said about this quintesential genius of movies and TV?
Every role a memorable one, even if the movie sucked.
At least one quotable line from every movie delivered as only Walken can do.
The man has a greatness that others can only dream about and try to emulate but always fall short of achieving. (William Shatner being a not so close second but up there and the exception).

Funny you brought up Walken.
He is, undoubtedly, the best villain to ever walk the silver screen in my era.
And it's because of a single role, in a movie called True Romance.
Check out this link. He was great in Dead Zone and many others, but this one part in True Romance is the epitome of a classic villain.

I'd also like to add, that the link I provided is the best acting I've ever seen from Dennis Hopper. But that scene in itself, is one of my favorite scenes in film, top 10 easily.

When I saw Christopher Walken as the title and read the first post... the scene that came to mind is the one with dennis hopper. Excellent scene.

How about the Russian Roulette scene in Deer Hunter with DeNiro? That was awesome! True Romance with Hopper is a CLASSIC. Suicide Kings, CLASSIC. SNL with the 'Cowbell' is BEYOND CLASSIC!

I thought Dead Zone was a very cool concept in terms of plot and etc. I wonder what he would see if he touched Obama's hand instead of Stillson's. His acting was excellent in that one as well...He is a very underrated underappreciated actor imho.

This is also pretty classic. don't watch it with any small kids in the room. pretty violent shit. Classic walken and deniro action. This movie is tragic and beautiful at the same time. These guys are in Vietnam, and end up in a coastal POW camp, constructed of bamboo. The guards are getting drunk and smoking cigarettes, betting on the outcomes of the russian roulette the force the prisoners to play. If they refuse to play, they get thrown in an underground pit similar to regular chinese water torture. in the movie there's rats and shit crawling around in there, (i was eating the first time i saw it and had to change the goddamn channel when I saw the rat.) they put one of their friends in that underwater cage because he aims the gun to where it scrapes the top of his head rather than go into his cranium, that's why the camera switches to it briefly before DeNiro orders three bullets.he comes up with a plan while they're underneath the roulette table (The prisoners were kept there, beneath the guards and roulette table, so the blood would spill onto them every time a guy got smoked. pretty fkd up.) , to get the guy to do three bullets at once instead of just putting one more into each chamber every time a guy doesn't blow his head off. I love this flick. Can't get my girl to watch it with me tho~
I bring you....the MAO MAO!!! scene.

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you here.....
Walkens best villian role was in "At Close Range" , which was based on a true story. In fact I'd have to say this was his greatest performance of all time. If you haven't seen it, you may want to check it out.
