Not to bash the issue but we need a follow up on the REASONING we eliminated the gold standard...

They did nt just change it on a whim...There had to be a viable reason...

And also until recently figured our countrys gold holdings were the same or if not more than all our printed money and debt...In other words we were still backed by a large stash of gold but we have overrun that...

Thats why they say our dollars aren not backed by any hard assets...

Of course if we have all the oil they say we do then that backs us up...

Who knows???
