You forgot to put Monica Lewinski's picture of her in her semen stained dress smoking a cigar! She was the downfall of the Democratic party. No one really cares if Clinton got a piece of ass. They cared about him lying about it!

I couldn't have said it better. I give the guy alot of credit for gettin it one with someone half his age. But he should have handled it totally different. He knew what he did, and he should have stood up and taken his punishment. Instead, he gets impeached.

And to think that was one of the few things I was happy to see him do as president.

Wingfoot here are some facts for you on "troopergate" that you left out.Because we all know how impartial ABC is in politics. Again an oversight by you and your sources or enough half truths to swing the opinion the way yoo want it.

Gov Palin is under investigation for her role in the sacking last month of Walter Monegan, the state's public safety director. Mr Monegan had previously refused to fire Mrs Palin's estranged former brother-in-law, a state trooper who allegedly threatened to shoot her father during a nasty child custody battle with her sister.

Mrs Palin said that Mr Monegan was removed for failing to fill vacancies and welcomed a public examination of her actions. Mr Moneghan said he was put under pressure to sack the state trooper Michael Wooten by Mr Palin's husband Todd and a senior aide.

An internal trooper investigation had found Mr Wooten guilty of several infractions - using a Taser stun gun on his stepson, drinking on duty, threatening his then father-in-law and shooting a moose without a permit, the Anchorage Daily News reported yesterday.

Those events took place when Mrs Palin was mayor of Wasilla, a town of about 7,000 people which is an hour's drive north of Anchorage and a different world from the nation's capital Washington. Nonetheless, Mr McCain's White House hopes could be shaped by the outcome of Alaska's "Troopergate", as the controversy is inevitable known.

The affair has done little to dampen Mrs Palin's popularity rating which stands at a level - 80 per cent - of which governors of the other 49 states can only dream. Not that that translates into many people in the sparsely-populated state: she was elected with a total of just 115,000 votes.

Why are so many people assuming that it was wrong for Palin to want her bro-n-law fired? If I had the power I would have had mine shot years ago!(wife's bro) If what Paintitout reported is true he should have been fired and been charged with several crimes. If he wasn't connected to her would we even be having this conversation?

Again, I will be so happy when this election is over so we can get back to blaming everything on the other side. Oh wait a minute - that's what is happening now. Aaarrrgh!!!

Last time I checked the chief of police answers to the mayor of the town. I f the Chief refuses an order, especially one like this in which a 10 year old boy was assaulted then the Mayor has every right to fire the Chief of Police.

And to think the welfare of our nation has to rely on a current soccer mom trying to juggle the country, and a family, and inexperience, all at the same time...

That ought to address the issues and fix the nation....

Pick a female out in touleyville nowhere(attractive one as possible to prop up at the podium) population 200 with as little dirt as possible to sway the female vote to keep up the demise...

Okay!!! Here we go again with the counterpart of this shakey equation...

I believe some would choose to skip over facts related to some one possibly over seeing our countrys welfare based on forgein policy experience of viewing a country from there backyard...

hhhmm???? if that was the wisest McCain strategy I dont know what to expect when he gets in office???

And then to have a blemish of being guilty of abusing there power right out of the gate... hhmmm???

WOW!!! Now thats what I call starting off on the right foot!!!

Maybe our country will be better off starting on the left foot!!!

It kind of pisses me off how the McCain camp has thrown Palin under the bus. They asked if she would like to run, and she said yes. I mean who would say no! I know I would not. I would consider it an honor to serve. She did nothing wrong and they are making her the scapegoat. Shame on the republicans. She may not have enough experience but neither does Obama. She made a few gaffs, but Biden made alot more than that. You know the 3 letter word JOBS!

What do you expect? Biden is a Senator from DELAWARE!!!!!! The boroughs of NYC are bigger than Delaware!!!!!!! Basically he's a senator for a neighborhood, not a 'real' state.

They aren't based there, just incorporated there because of some type of looser regulations.
