Just a reminder to everyone... we have now hit August.. (where did the days go?")... School will be starting soon and we all need to be watching out for the li'l bumpkins and the not so aware teens crossing roads & coming out between cars. Just a little reminder to put in the front of your thoughts while driving out there.

I'm putting Sarah's curriculum into an online program this year. I have already entered two of her classes, but still have six more to go before we start school. A lot of work involved in homeschooling, but worth it.

I really admire those who can homeschool... my sister did it... but me... now I would come up with reasons why doing something else would be more FUN!! They wouldn't learn anything!! I have the attention span of a squirrel and the memory of a goldfish... so... that doesn't work to try to homeschool... I would forget too much!! LOL

Yeah kinda got use to leaving the house a little later now I have to adjust to account for the buses now :complain: Now we have to check in when we locate schools now :rules:

Yeah all of those little "Flag Pullers" will be roaming the streets again. Sometimes I wish they were all home schooled!

Sometimes I think there are more schools than kids where I work. I work in the city so all the kids walk to school(no buses) I try to avoid certain areas between 7-8am and 3-4pm.

At least now I won't really have to worry about them bloodsuckers between 9 and 3 for awhile. :drinks: (and yes I have a kid in school):shh:

Over? I haven't really even gotten started. I got mine up to 92 degrees within the first two weeks.....checked it last night, back down to 77.....Grrrrr. Was 57 degrees yesterday morning and 60 this morning. Air temp of course.

Many schools are starting today... if they have not already in your areas... Be safe and watch out for them! Of course now I can't take my "back roads" in... as then I will get held up by the buses.... but on the bright side... don't have my daughter sitting at home "bored"...
