I am just curious what kind of paintgun mods or special guns alot of you use. We use the damn thing so much, I decided to modify mine. I took 2 pieces of paper and folded them up to be palm sized, and put on each side of my handle. Electric taped it all up, to where it's almost like a glove. Feels much better than just the bare plastic as before. I was thinking of like a neoprene handle or something super soft, would be great. I paint T's much quicker with the tape on there, than before.
Trying to figure a way to make the trigger more comfortable as I've been noticing my right point finger on the left side of it is getting tougher as a result of abrasion.../shrug

Hubby uses a vaccuum plug for automobiles as a tip on his pull trigger. Much softer! For the handle, instead of using tape and paper, get a foam cover for a bicycle hand grip. It stretches and goes over top of the handle. It will fill your palm and is nice and soft.

I have the pix of my modified paintstick as an album on my info page. Check it out - same pix as before thecablevine re-located (no pun intended) to this new server.

I added a water bottle holder from a bicycle to hold an extra can of paint. Also like mentioned before on any new paintstick it is a must to add a piece of PVC to hold flags.

not really a modification, but sometimes the metal linkage inside gets a little corrosion or rust on it, a capfull of any kind of motor oil and 30 seconds of working the trigger gets it feeling like new again.

I just got done rebuilding a couple paint sticks. A fellow locator was gonna throw a couple away so I grabbed them and they just needed to be taken apart cleaned and put back together. It only took a few minutes each and a few rivets and now I have 2 like new paint sticks.

Yep the junk Rustoleum and Krylon ones. I keep all the old broken ones I can find. Most of the time it's just the linkage fell apart inside from being banged around. Just drill out the two rivets and take 3 screws out and you're in. Not all of them can be fixed but quite a few of them can.
