Ok I just saw this on Yahoo. Some kid got arrested for selling his vote on ebay. His defense is it was just a joke but it got me thinking. If this kid could get arrested for a law from the 1800's why is EVERY SINGLE CONGRESSMEN NOT IN JAIL?
Special Interest Groups and Lobbyists buy votes from congress every day!!!!! This is legal but selling a vote for a Presidential Election isn't? I think personally if one is wrong then the other should be wrong also but that goes to show you the double standard government we live under. It's ok for them to profit for their vote but we the people should not?
Presidential Nominees buy the Super Delagate vote, why do you think they need millions and millions of dollars to 'run' for President, these vote are for sale that's why. Even if no money is involed (lol) but favors are promised when elected and in office that is still buying a vote.
Maybe I'm off in left field here but it is my thought that until we get rid of the Special Interest Groups, Lobbyists and the Electoral College with these 'Super Delagates' we will never have a Government that is TRULY Of the People by The People and For the People.

Hillary's campaign was +/- $21 million in debt when it was known on a Thursday the Super Delegates were swinging to Obama, thus the death toll on Hillary's nomination. It was then reported that Hillary needed a couple of days to "make a public announcement." During these "couple of days," Hillary was cutting a deal with the Democratic National Committee to pay her campaign debt (maybe a little bit more just for fun) in return for her promised delegates and her enthusiastic support of Obama. The deal was finalized on the following Saturday. That same day, Hillary did the best acting job of her life to concede with a smile and endorse Obama for the Democrat presidential nomination. :puke:
