We are still pondering that delima... have some friends that we are deciding if we are going to their house or ours... oh.. the agony of it all!!! .....:confused: But I am SO GLAD for a 3 day weekend!!! :Todd::yahoo:

We just got back from the parade and I got the meat and beans in the smoker. A couple hours and the grub will be ready.

I should of taken pictures of the finished product but I was too drunk by then and forgot to take pictures. Here's a picture from the mid-smoke. I had beans,brats, and ribs on the smoker. Turned out great.

Oh... wow... that looks like it was REALLY GOOD! Gonna have to check out a smoker for this household! Do you smoke turkeys for Thanksgiving too?

Sorry LL, this one of for imidiate family only. The cablevine family would have ate me out of house and home.

Gypsy, I've only had the smoker since Christmas so I haven't done a turkey for thanksgiving yet. I will definately be trying it. We are doing two chickens thursday so that will be our poultry trial.

Sooner gave me a great website for smokers. It's full of recipes and tips for the average joe like me. They also have reviews on smokers for anyone interested in buying one. I was talking to a track hoe operator who said he and 2 buddies drank away the 4th of July. He said the 3 were tossing Black Cats at each other's feet. The drunkest of the 3 was lighting his firecrackers off his Marlboro. Somehow the Marlboro got tossed and the lit Black Cat went to his lips! :toasted: Instant monkey lips!
