Take one campfire, liquor, a bathtub & add water...

Notice that the tub is secured by sitting on bar stools, I wanna see the picture of when they try to get out.

By the way, does that remind anyone else an old bugs bunny cartoon?

We have friends in New Zealand and Australia and their sense of fun never seems to end.

Each time we go, we just laugh our Asses off at the stuff they do for fun.

The last time we were down to N.Z. a friend had just gotten a new boat. So how do they christen it?

We are racing down the harbor with our friends uncle and he pulls out crates of over ripe tomatoes, fish heads etc and they start a food fight! Our friends new boat was a freeking mess at the end of it.

Keep in mind these are not kids, these are people in their 50's.

It was great fun!

Another time we went pub crawling in the back country of N.Z. After many pubs and many beers, a guys gotta go if you catch my drift!

We stopped by a steep cut back in the road (where they cut a road through a hill not over it) and all the guys raced to the top. First one to the top got to pee on everyone else. There was great incentive to be the first to the top.

Anyway, when I saw this, true or not, it does truly reflect their sense of fun!

ThanX Yahoo. Will do.

I have many tough days in this career choice and so now when I come home I really look forward to spending time on the Vine. Laugh my ass off at lots of stuff, learn lots and generally unwind.

Once I am mellow, I go out and take all my guns outta the truck......JUST KIDDING!!!

Today was a real BIT*H. Hotter than hell, no wind, not a freeking cloud anywhere and me locating all day in miles of black dirt. Man I must have drank 4 litres (1 litre = 1 american quart) of water, I was so dry I was spittin sand!

It has been raining a fair bit every night lately so the humidity is pretty high at the moment as well.

If I keep this up, I will be in serious danger of losing some of this pot belly I paid huge money to acquire!

Nope not a figure of speech Yahoo.

We did not have any volcanos up this way and any sand we had has long since been covered up. In the Northern climates leaves die and fall to the ground each autumn. Grass dies each fall, trees fall over and rot in the forest.

All eventually turn to "compost" which of course is "black." It is why the prairies are great for growing feed crops like wheat, oats, corn, etc.

So, in new subdivisions, when they clear away all the grass, trees, etc. You are left with black dirt. Quite frequently, several feet thick.

On a hot day, it is a real bitch to work in because it absorbs the heat and adds to the ambient temperature. If there is no wind it is as bad as working on a paving crew laying new asphalt on roads.
