I am looking for a cheapie digital camera to buy to carry around in the truck to take shots of stuff I see in a work day.

I have a canon already. Would like to stay with canon so I do not have to load more new software on the computer.

Nothing too fancy, a flash, maybe 3x digital zoom...

Anyone got positive/negative tips/or comments on a canon they use?

Was maybe looking at a Canon Powershot A470 or an A590. Any other suggestions?

ThanX in advance

I just use the co. camera , Kodak, and carry a spare Memory Chip. If you are have not started a ticket you can download straight to "My Pictures"

ebay, dude. Grab a used, older model for a couple of bucks and don't worry if it breaks or breaks down 'cause you got it on the cheap.

I use the Canon Powershot and have no complaints. Takes good pictures and is relatively cheap.

]ThanX guys, I really appreciate your input!

Will look in to EBAY.

Also, a friend works at a camera store and advised she can get me some kind of discount (30% I think) so will see if that is worth it.
