DO NOT reveal who you work for unless you have no fear of anyone throwing you under a bus to gloss themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Klien - Lighten up buddy! The big ticket loads and the 100 degree days aren't even here yet! When the day comes this summer that sweat rolls off our nutz at 10 A.M., then all of us will be on your side........

I don't know about anybody else, but personally I have nothing to hide... And I certainly don't care if my DM or anyone else for that matter reads my postings here or not.

For the most part I'm happy with my job and the current management, my only beef is I need a F@$king 4 WD vehicle on account of the contracts we have in my area. For almost 4 years I've carried a 30' chain in my truck, and used it for the most part along with a phone call to either one of my contacts at the Gas Co. , or pipeline companies who I do tickets for. The last year or so, I've been calling for a tow truck when I get stuck, and between the downtime and towing bills it's cost a bundle.

I hear ya dude!

I too work in the rurals a fair bit. Even the areas within the city I work are mostly former farms being torn up to build new subdivisions. I cannot count the number of times I have been stuck and needed pulled out.
The company gave me an extended cab ford ranger so, it is better than other vehicles I have had because of the clearance.

Our auditor who barely makes it out my way drives a 4x4. What's with that?

Sure hope you're not footing the bill for the towing...

I sometimes wonder if the 'suits' and 'sups' that visit here convince themselves that a certain member is one of their own and don't like
what he stands for or what he posts...and that certain member is not
who they think he is? That would be really bad for a completely innocent person.

Hope that made sense.

I think most management believes everyone on here is someone that works for them. When you screw most everyone in the company, everyone becomes a possible complainer, bitcher, nemesis or whatever you want to call us. I seem to remember several threads in the old forum quoting management disparaging all locators, the way I have just done to management. :o

I m going to invent a porta-nut fan like those ones you wear on your hat...

Quit patronizing tinactin or any other fungus amongus suppliers...

If that doesnt create enough cash to ride off into the sunset... I ll accessorize the fan with the optional ass crack air flow diverter...

That should put me overthetop...

Hell I am untouchable. I work when I want. Damages get buried by my sup. I never take pictures and no one cares. We are so far behind no one is checking us at all.

Let me guess. Your low on the pay scale and wonder why. In case you didn't realize doing a half-ass job in this business puts others in danger. Do yourself a favor get out of locating and get the nobrainer job you deserve.

I have to agree. That type of work ethic is what is wrong with our industry. People who want to do a half A$$ job and expect to get paid for it.

Jklien, You do not need to be in our field. You give every honest, hard working, some what dedicated Locator a bad name. You need to find another field of work. You are going to have a damage that has the potential of killing someone. How can you sleep at night with that type of attitude?

If you are so untouchable, give me your name so I can talk to your sup and DM. There are folks out there that need jobs and do care what type of service they provide to client and customers. I give 110% to any company I work for. You just sound like a lowlife slacker. You need to get a job that you are good at, and not one that you are going to get someone hurt or killed! :bang:
