Memorial day weekend

How did you spend your memorial day weekend.

Around here (boise, Idaho) it seems most people are hanging around. There are still those who go up to the hills like my neighbors did. They went to a cabin in the mountains with friends who came in from out of town.

Others who planned on going camping got a bit of a surprise when the campground they were going to stay at was closed down. something like 186 campsites were in this campground. The snow is melting too fast or something and they are afraid of flooding. Oh well. glad I didn't make plans.

I spent my MDW drinking. Today will be yard work and tomorrow will probably be a work day just out of pure boredom. We'll see.

Mine will be spent working around the house. With gas at $4.00+ per gal can't afford to go anywhere.:cool2:

Sicker than a dog here.......... Pisses me off, my first weekend off in months and I haven't left the house this weekend. I got the boat all ready on Friday but haven't went out yet. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and try to catch a little dinner.

Worked Sat. and Sun. Watched Nascar last nite and will be doing yardwork and Honey-do's today. Exciting life isn't it?:censored::complain:

I feel much better today. I think we're gonna take the kids to a festival in the neighboring town. I guess we'll see how much better I'm feeling after a few beers and going on a few rides.:D

First Memorial Day weekend that I didn't work. From what I understand, my former team mates had to work. I do feel bad for those people.
